Desiol is a domestic product and was developed in collaboration with microbiology, chemistry and hospital hygiene experts for the needs of Finnish healthcare. Desiol is an ethanol and surfactant-based disinfectant for cleaning and disinfecting medical equipment and surfaces in healthcare environments. Desiol can also be used for two-step disinfection of exudate stains.
Use:
The product is used on dry surfaces. Dampen a towel with Desiol and wipe the tool or surface to be disinfected. Make sure the towel is sufficiently moist. If the towel feels dry, the ethanol has evaporated and is not effective. The disinfection time of alcohol is its drying time. No rinsing is required. Detergent surfactants remove dirt effectively and the product is also suitable for dirtier objects.
